Henry, d. summer 1916, burried in Wolfe Cemetery, near Maud, OK, Buckhorn,
Seminole, OKLA.
Dollie Parlee Scoggins Burgess, b. 1847, ARK.
d August 1915, burried: Freedonia, Richwoods, Stone County, ARK.
Parlee: Illness lasted 2 yrs. Her main nerve to brain went bad. Music in
her head, running her nuts. She would call for Celia (meaning Aunt Celie,
Uncle George Burgess' wife,) and would talk to Jim Row McCalister. She
had good eyes, Black Dutch. 4' 11 or 5' 0" tall, weight: 105 lbs. olive,
smooth skin. clear, dark blue, pretty eyes. dark brown hair.
Parlee was married before, had two sons, Jim and John McCarroll. Her 1st
husband, killed in Civil War, Confederate. Jim McCarrol, "Chester,"
Parlee's son, died of bone disease, it pulled his knee cap off.
(These sons died early; no decendents.)
Parlee Walked well, rode horse well, tracked bees had as many as 85 marked
bee trees. Tracked the bees, Nig came along. "Nig, Old Nig, Nigger," a
black dog. Had horse named "Stockings."
On 23 sept 1880, census, Henry is 13 yrs. old.Was in good health and liked
to walk. Henry died at son, Jess's home, cause; diarrlea & kidney trouble;
lack of medicine, His Doctor's name: Dr. Rose. (Also, Aunt Celia doctored
him.) {Jess died of as same as his dad, T. H. Burgess.}
Henry: Irish?,
6'2" or taller, 165, light red face, grey/blue eyes, mostly blond hair,
some reddish brown, generally wore a beard. heavy frame, good eyes.

Parlee is burried in the Freedonia Cemetery, between Rushing and Mountainview,
ARK, off to east side of Hwy 9. (She died 1915.)
Elizabeth Burgess Gray is also burried there.
Thomas is burried in Wolf Cemetery, Maud, OLKA, 1916.
