1. James (Jim) Gibson (no photo, said to have been preacher in Poteet, Texas.)
He used to walk to San Benito, Texas to visit us.
Jim had children with 1st wife, Thurman, Thaniel, and Amy.
2nd wife, Roxie, had other children, only sons' name I remember is David Gibson.
Barbara was a beautician.
Jess Burgess and 2. Andrew (Andy) Gibson.
Photo given to me by Aunt Inez Dunkin, said to have been on Will Roger's airplane.
Andy died in route to Rio Grande Valley to pick cotton, maybe in Georgewest, TX.
Delsie was his wife.
Ellie and 3. Calvin Gibson, Mead, OK, @ 1966
Uncle Calvin couldn't talk plain. Couldn't say the letter "D."
They called Charlie "Square." Once Uncle Calvin asked Gerthie if
Square shoed the horses. She answered him with, no, he put round shoes on them.
Uncle Calvin laughed and laughed. He couldn't say "Dollar."
Joe was youngest of the Gibson family.
Pictured is 4. Joe Gibson with cousin, Everett "Hoot" Gibson.
I think we all have a "Hoot Gibson;" not the famous silent pictures actor.
Everett was a truck driver in Shawnee, Oklahoma..
Everett had brother named Ezra, and a brother named William from Ada, Okla.
They were sons of George Gibson. There were five boys and a girl named, Gracie.
Gracie had real long black hair. Her mother was always combing it.
Gracie always had a headache, Zona said it was because of her hair.
5. George Gibson no photo, see above info about George's family.
6. Oscar Gibson lived awhie in the Rio Grande Valley.
Worked for the Popalicas; they were bohemians. He married twice
after his first wife died. Died in CA.
7. Ollie Gibson married Newton Ticser, had son Jody Ticser.
Ollie died in Oklahoma City. We all went to visit her in hospital. Uncle Joe,
Uncle Calvin and Uncle Jim were there. Nephew and neices, Billy, Inez and Gertha
were there. We only knew Uncle Jim, 'cause he had always visited us.
8. Callie Gibson had three sons with husband Howard.
She died after an earthquake in CA.
