An ordinance requiring motor cars to display head & tail lights, and regulating the
speed of same, was adopted by the council under the emergency clause.
Tom Sanford was granted permission to close the west end of Gentry St.
temporarily.

hitch racks were ordered moved from the north side of Fergusons store.
The closets in front of the Cottage Hotel owned by the RR Co. was ordered put in
sanitary condition.
The marshal was instructed to warn out the hands and do what work was necessary.
By resolution the speed limit was changed from 10 to 15 miles per hour.

The wire that was damaged by J H Dickersons truck was ordered fixed and the bill
to be presented to the party causing the damage.
On motion, the street leading to the park was to be widened and the council was to
pay J B Ferguson $50.00 when he became 21 years old.
Wednesday Mch 12 was set aside as clean up day.
An election was ordered for the 1st Tues in April to elect 5 aldermen, 1 mayor, 1
marshal to serve 2 years.

W B Ferguson was appointed to oversee work on the street that was to be begun as
soon as teams can be secured.
The mayor was instructed to buy 300 ft of 2 in hose and put the fire plugs in good
shape.
Wednesday March 10th was designated as clean up day.

The street committee was instructed to secure option of the lots necessary to secure
right of way for the Jefferson Highway.
Election was ordered for the purpose of election of 1 mayor, 1 marshal, and 5
aldermen. Date of election 2nd Tuesday in April.
Tuesday March 9 was designated as clean up day.

were filed as a part of these minutes.
Tuesday Sept 27 was set as a time to try these charges.
