Renne Allred (1804-1869)
Renee Allred brought his family to Grayson County in 1837.
From Land Grants, he acquired 1200 acres, in the Ravenna and Pink Hill areas.
A Mason, Allred served as captain of local volunteers in 1839 and again in 1860.
Renne Allred Home
His home pictured here, was the first to be built in the Pink Hill area (circa 1850).
It was built of millcut lumber, brought from Jefferson.
