VICTORIOUS 1943 was converted from 1936 Stoner's Turf Champs.

We had a few pins from the 70's, when a guy called me with the VICTORIOUS 1943 pin for sale. I didn't know anything about the older woodrails, so didn't buy it. About 6 months later, we were looking at some woodrails in a pinball book, and decided maybe we should have bought the VICTORIOUS. I knew he read the shopper "WHO HAS IT?" ads, 'cause that's where he saw my number & had called me about his VICTORIOUS. I put an ad in the shopper again saying, "Who has JR's VICTORIOUS 1943 pinball machine?" JR did call me back & we bought the VICTORIOUS. We have now had the VICTORIOUS about ten years & have talked with some collectors of the old woodrails. The 1936 Turf Champs are very sought after. Westerhaus - VICTORIOUS 1943, war-time conversion of Stoner's Turf Champ.
The Victorious sold new for $199.50.
The Victorious was made in '44 and '45 also.
I have had it for about 10 years.
